Boston Consulting Group sues GameStop claiming $30mn in unpaid fees

BCG, the world renowned strategic consultancy, is suing GameStop, the video games retailer, for $30 million in unpaid fees. The consultancy was hired by GameStop to help "enable corporate transformation". Apparently, the managers of GameStop were unimpressed by the work , given BCG's "seemingly meagre impact on the company’s bottom line". Gamestop is sitting on a cash pile of over $1 billion and could easily pay the fees if it chose to.
