The Edge Hairdressing

I received a call about the leaking roof and attended stopped the leak and was informed that insurance company was involved…… when I ask about payment salon owners reply is “the work wasn’t finished or hasn’t been done” yet the roof had stopped leaking and all items listed on invoice are completed.
Salon owner Tells me that they failed a roof report because of my work yet I asked for a copy of failed roof report and the response was no you chose not to finish what was agreed ( after 5 or more attempts of continuing to ask for the report owner still cannot provide which ticks the box of not failed ) and I ask for proof/evidence of work not completed and I then get told this isn’t done ( look at the invoice items list documented ) then sends me photos of things that aren’t on quote.
Salon owner has offered me half the invoice as that is all prepared to offer.
To try solve this issue at hand as im left out of pocket and to cover materials supplied I gave a price and again told no but as an act of good will found a little bit more.
As an act of good will……..really???? It was then that I realised no I done the work I was there after hours to stop the roof leak and at the price you wouldn’t find it any cheaper.
I CANT EVEN GO ABOUT MY EVERYDAY BUSINESS AND DO A QUOTE A COUPLE DOORS DOWN TO TURN AROUND AND SEE THE POLICE THERE.
Salon owner had called them as they felt intimidated and bullied yet I didn’t even look or step foot on there premises
Salon owner had also been slandering ( defamation ) to there clients of salon about my business and me as one of there clients decided to have a input and opinion about it which thanks to dash cam captured the moment perfectly
To me if you can’t provide a copy of failed roof report
