Allegation: Unpaid invoice

Value: AUD 970.00

Dispute details:

Client agreed to pay $970 for services delivered - then refused to pay

Invoice for the sum of Australian $970 for online services sent on Friday 9th July under the heading "Expenses for Lee" - to which client responded on Sunday July 11th from her email with the message "Hello Lee I will pay as much as I can tomorrow had a very tiring week". I attached my bank account details to that invoice, and sent numerous friendly reminders to client email address thereafter. Invoice sent was previously agreed to by client through same email address and through Facebook messenger (can provide screenshots). I have received previous payments for past services from client's PayPal previously, and I have a written agreement in response to my invoice that the client owes me the sum of money (stated above).

I keenly await your response, and if you decide not to reply I will be following up this message in around a week's time with more developments.

Attempts to resolve dispute:

Numerous friendly reminders, the last of which was sent on November 11th 2021.

Response to accusation (by accused):

Hayden Holdings has nothing to do with this person or this invoice. He would need to contact Melody Lee Hayden about this as it is addressed to her and she is not employed by us. We believe that this is a scam and nothing Mr Herring or Mr Heir another named used by him has not supplied the service he claimed to have done.He has been told repeatedly we have nothing to do with him or this matter. He was a person who made a lot of promises and did nothing. We have no dealing with this man and do not owe him anything in fact if this persists and we have to get our lawyer involved for deformation. Cheers Lyn Place

Counter Response (by plaintiff):

I am responding here for the final time in relation to the reply from Hayden Holdings PTY LTD. A family member / employee of this family company owes me $970 AUD. In my previous statement titled 'Client agreed to pay $970 for services delivered - then refused to pay' I stated that an invoice for the sum of Australian $970 for online services sent on Friday 9th July under the heading "Expenses for Lee" - to which client responded on Sunday July 11th from her email with the message "Hello Lee I will pay as much as I can tomorrow had a very tiring week". I attached my bank account details to that invoice, and sent numerous friendly reminders to the client's email address thereafter (the last of which was sent on November 11th 2021). Invoice sent was previously agreed to by client through same email address and through Facebook messenger (can provide screenshots). I have received previous payments for past services from client's PayPal previously (connected to the company MelsManchesterMad which is connected to Hayden Holdings PTY LTD - see their official website), and I have a written agreement in response to my invoice that the client owes me the sum of money (stated above).  I have quoted Hayden Holdings PTY LTD's response to my original dispute below (in quotation marks) and underneath I have explained the cast-iron side of my argument, proving that I should be paid as previously agreed.   "Hayden Holdings has nothing to do with this person or this invoice. He would need to contact Melody Lee Hayden about this as it is addressed to her and she is not employed by us." -  If this is the case, then why is Melody Lee Hayden listed as "our Head Designer" on Hayden Holdings PTY LTD official site " https://haydenholdings.com.au/ " It is a picture of the same Melody Lee Hayden who paid me via PayPal numerous times via the MelsManchesterMad company email address, a company also listed on the homepage as part of Hayden Holdings PTY LTD (I have taken screenshots of the aforementioned - information correct as of Wednesday 12th January 2022) "We believe that this is a scam and nothing Mr Herring or Mr Heir another named (sic) used by him has not supplied the service he claimed to have done. He has been told repeatedly we have nothing to do with him or this matter. He was a person who made a lot of promises and did nothing." - If my service and invoice is a scam then why do I have payment receipts from Melody Lee Hayden via MelsManchesterMad PayPal / email address and numerous correspondences and an agreement to pay the aforementioned $470 AUD, and also an agreement from the person, an employee / family member of Hayden Holdings PTY LTD. Melody Lee Hayden would often discuss her family business in conversation and made reference to me coming to stay in her family resort (presumably Figtree Getaway, also featured on the family website). If I was a scammer, why would Melody Lee Hayden make such an offer? Also, my surname is "Lee Herring" but Melody Lee Hayden knows me as "Lee Heir" due to it being my musical stage name, as my services (paid for by Melody Lee Hayden) were music related.  "We have no dealing with this man and do not owe him anything in fact if this persists and we have to get our lawyer involved for deformation. Cheers Lyn Place" -  I think "Lyn Place" means "defamation" but I can't be sure - I have no intention of deforming anyone (or defaming them for that matter). I simply want the payment of $470 AUD that has been agreed to me by Melody Lee Hayden of "Hayden Holdings PTY LTD".  "Lyn Place" states she has "told (me) repeatedly" they have nothing to do with me or this matter, when in fact I haven't spoken to anyone from this organisation apart from Melody Lee Hayden. So, their facts aren't even consistent. The simple fact is that Melody Lee Hayden, Head Designer of "Hayden Holdings PTY LTD" owes me $470 AUD, and this statement will stay on www.disputesregister.org to show this unpaid invoice and make anyone aware when doing business background checks and credit checks of this person's previous dealings. Hopefully this will deter people from possibly having the same issues I have had in the future with a certain member of this organisation, with the dispute being high up on any Google/other search of "Hayden Holdings PTY LTD".  I have stated previously with my very polite emails that I am willing to resolve this matter with "Hayden Holdings PTY LTD" and this is still the case. If the dispute is dealt with in a manner to my satisfaction I am happy to drop the matter and remove this from www.disputesregister.org. Until then, it will remain here to be seen by anyone on the internet who wishes to research the dealings of "Hayden Holdings PTY LTD", Melody Lee Hayden and their company "Mels Manchester Mad" (www.melsmanchestermad.com.au).
