This is concerning and unethical situation I experienced while working as a freelance Social Media Manager and Virtual Assistant for Lily Lou's Aromas. I am writing this to ensure fair treatment for workers in similar situations.

Initially, I was hired to fulfill specific responsibilities related to social media management and virtual assistance for the company.

However, without any prior discussion or agreement, I was abruptly moved into a marketing manager role, significantly altering the scope of my responsibilities.

During my time with Lily Lou's Aromas, I dedicated over 100 hours of my expertise and effort to support their business. Regrettably, they terminated my employment without providing any valid reason for my dismissal. To add to the predicament, the company refused to compensate me for my services, even though my work had been substantial and valuable to their operations.

I discovered a similar occurrence involving a web designer before my tenure with the company. This raises red flags regarding Lily Lou's Aromas' employment practices and treatment of freelancers, indicating a pattern of questionable behaviour.
