Software development and hosting services were unpaid by the former client. The former client wanted to do an audit, via a third party, of the software developed by my firm, however, an unintended situation occurred where the third party leaked the software code and credentials from the hosting site. In order to resolve this, my firm was contracted out to partially fix the solution. In addition, my firm was contracted to fix bugs related to performance issues and integrations. Both the third-party fixes and the bug fixes were requested by the former client to complete. However, the former client then refused to pay for the development.
