Dispute details:
Unpaid Invoices for services rendered - PHI Hotels, RBI Group of Companies, and Pacific Gateway Hotel
This hotel company has two unpaid invoices for one of their hotels, Pacific Gateway Hotel, each in the amount of $4000.00 USD, for a total unpaid balance of $8,000 USD. One is for services rendered March 12 - April 11, 2022 (invoiced 3/1/22), and the other is for May 12 - June 11, 2022 (invoiced on 5/2/22). I have sent dozens of reminders to them between March and July 2022. They all went ignored. We did receive a termination of agreement notice on June 30, 2022, from the Director of Sales and Marketing at the Pacific Gateway Hotel. Our termination requires a 30-day notice. In good faith, we decided to waive the 30-day notice if the two outstanding invoices were paid promptly, thus ending their contract on June 11, 2022. We replied to the termination email with this information, but it was also ignored. I sent another message on 7/12/22, explaining that these invoices needed to be paid in full to avoid legal action. Once this was sent, we finally received a response from the AP department of Pacific Gateway Hotel acknowledging the overdue invoices and that the checks were processed. This email response I received showed the forwarded email string including; PHI Hotels, RBI Group of Companies, and Pacific Gateway Hotel. The AP department also replied to this string stating that "the invoices were processed and hopefully there will be no problem sending you the cheque." The Director of Sales and Marketing at Pacific Gateway Hotel also responded on the string ".. I have sent them through several times, this is a head office issue." I have since followed up several times to find the status of these checks, but their only response is "that they forwarded it to their manager and hopefully it is resolved soon."
Attempts to resolve dispute:
More than two dozen times between March and August 2022 via email, QuickBooks, and voicemails.
