Sofa been ordered on 08/08/22 not been received
We ordered a sofa in 8 of August 22, been told will take up to 10-12 weeks, then been told it will be in delay as fabric issues, and on 2nd of December will have a delivery date (discussed with the manager from DFS York), I have asked the manager dor a refund been told it is not possible on this stage.
I have called them yesterday (02/12/22) and asked about delivery date as nobody gave me an update about our delivery and been told (customer service) maybe will have an update about our delivery on 11 of December, but again they are not sure if the delivery will take place after 11 of December. Been told it will be delivered before Christmas but they don't know which date. Spoked today with the shop manager (I have requested to talk with him yesterday while I visited the shop but he was not there and then I spoke with an employee about this issue) and the shop manager said they can give us a refund now and I think this is not fair, we have asked a refund first time but been refused and now a refund it is possible.
This caused us a lot of stress because we had to wait almost 4 months without a delivery date and still don't know if the sofa will be delivered before Christmas. Could you please advise? Also when they told us first time about the delay we have asked about a refund and been refused, also, the shop manager confrunted us and no polite at all, it was like it was our faul about this situation.
Please advise because we wanted to buy another sofa but the refund could take up to 7-10 days and we are not happy about this issue with the delivery.
