Admitted Liability Mis-Sold Car Finance - Pending Full Compensation
Mis-sold finance on £210k vehicle, unable to settle finance as advised within 14 days without penalty. Sytner Group admitted liability 6months later in writing & only offering £4k, instead of £9.5k + £5k legal fees incurred. Sales staff at Bristol Mercedes Benz were discriminatory. Sytner Group referred to ICO for failure to disclose one particular sales call used to upheld my complaint. Sytner Group should have accepted liability in December 2022, however we had to go through 300 phone calls to prove I had been mis-sold finance. Sytner Group dragged this matter out until upholding my complaint in May 2023.
Attempts to resolve dispute:
I have tried to be reasonable and fair by asking for £9.5k, which is the figure to settle full & final. If they cannot settle I have requested they unwind the deal & take the vehicle back. The dispute has been raised with the ICO, Motoring & Financial Ombudsman.
