Leaks in every bathroom.
Failed to investigate reported underfloor leak under kitchen floor in front of kitchen sink. After a year, and forced to investigate, with further damage to parquet flooring.
Failed to remedy defects to paint works throughout proper. Cracked plaster throughout. Skirting boards not fixed to walls.
Neglected to hang glass pendants, subsequently hit by internal doors and smashed to floor
X3 Underfloor heating controls put in inaccessible location ( behind drawer, inside cabinet)
Rain pipes spilling over
Damaged (Chesney) Wood Burner, due to removing from property and leaving outside exposed to outdoor elements ( rusted).
Aborted ceiling ( decorating) works to shower, (left unusable with a unstable supports for a month )
Demanding 1/2 Retention before resuming works
This company previously displayed this exact behaviour, in the middle of the works, despite there being a JCT; ie forced the site to close, against our will, to go on holiday.
This causing significant financial loss, for a rental property during this extended time.
They forced a new charge of £14K, in order to return and called it “Re-mobilising”.
One of the directors, is a quantity surveyor and obligated under RICS, to perform with a duty of care.
