Dispute details:

Overcharged and not refunded

very bad services given.
Tiling – None of the tiles were laid properly. They did not put adhesive on the back of any tile. All the adhesive was put on walls or floors and that too in a spotted manner. Due to this, our floor tiles are already creaking and some of them have cracked as they are hollow. When tiling and flooring, their people cut the architraves so badly that it looks odd!! After tiling, they did not even cover the tiles properly while they carried out painting work. The tiles got so many scratches

Flooring – We did new laminate flooring. The installer did not leave any expansion gaps. Due to this, we had wobble and creaking in flooring

Bathroom refurb – They laid down brand new bathtub, even when half of the old tiles on the wall were not taken out., So they started breaking it after the bathtub was installed. The guys were careless and did no cover the bathtub properly, due to which we now have chip marks and scratches on a new bathtub

Kitchen –They did not even know how to read the kitchen design and installed and cut panels wrongly. They made me order kitchen in advance and then for weeks the units were just moved from room to toom while they carried on their work

Plumbing – plumber could not fit wall hung toilet we bought from Grohe. the thermostat was damaged by the plumber

Decorating – . The painter did not paint the walls properly. We can still see patches in paints. They did not sand the wood at all and sometimes, were painting over dirty wood so all the grains were visible

The owner of the business agreed a refund of £2,000 on 4th February 2022. Till date no refund has been made
