Non completion of building work

We instructed RLF Maintenance & Joinery to undertake work on our property. The work included a new roof - felt and baton, new tiles, new fascia and cladding on the dorma, new guttering and downpipes. Also included was reboarding of patchwork on ceiling in living room and front wall of dorma. The cost of the skips and scaffolding. We paid £2650 upfront for the work to commence on 28th April 2023 with a completion date of 4th May 2023.
To date we still have a half completed tile roof. No cladding on dorma, no facia, no guttering or downpipes. We have had numerous leaks into the property causing damage to the interior walls/ ceilings and electrical items. We have incurred costs such as having to pay for skips to be replaced and wages to his staff.
We have been lied to constantly and have had numerous promises to complete work, none of which has happened. I contacted them again this morning (10/07/2023) and was assured he would be at the property this afternoon. Once again he didn't arrive and no further building work has taken place.

Attempts to resolve dispute:

RLF Maintenance & Joinery have been contacted numerous times to order goods/ complete works. He has assured us this will be done but to no fruition. He has been asked to refund us so we can get another tradesman to complete the work for us. None of which has happened. We need this to be resolved as soon as possible as it is causing a great deal of stress.
