Company was contracted to build an extension. Persistent delays and the request for money upfront produced very little progress on the build. The company was paid £23,900 from 19th August 2021 to 30 November 2021. 9 months on and the built structure was still without a roof, or wind and water tight.

First payment on 03/04/21 of £8000
Second payment on 21st July of £10000
Third payment on 30th November 2021 of £5900.

First and second payment for doors, gutters and down pipes and other building materials.
Third payment was for insulation for walls and floors, steel beams, roof tiles and leadworks.

Due to persistent delays, company was given several deadlines to complete the work. They were finally released from the contract due to breach of contract on the 27 May 2022. Work started on the 19th August 2021.

I would like to claim for roof materials gutters, down pipes, lead works, plaster boards, render materials and steel beams paid for and not received.

Several deadline dates was given to allow for work to be completed. The 11th of April 2022 deadline was given to make the build wind and water tight. This did not happen.
Final reminder was given to complete the build by the 23 May 2022. The build was still not wind or water tight. Roof materials still not arrived.
Company was given another week to allow for completion of roof. Still no progress.
Company was released from the contract on the 27th May 2022.
Refund of materials were requested from the company, the response was ignored.
