QA for medical transcription (working remote in a different State). Was a former employee, removed from employee status and made vendor contractor. ALL invoices submitted in December of 2022 remain unpaid ($2,246.99). Per our contract, invoices were sent weekly, and payment was due weekly. Contract was terminated in July of this year. Two payments were received since then for the most recent service with an additional $1,453.94 due, bringing the total due to $3,700.93. MANY attempts at corresponding with them via e-mail have been ignored. A report was filed with the FL Attorney General as well.

I am not the only contractor that has not been paid. I know of a others as well that never received their final payments due.

While an employee, it was not unusual to see the MTs complaining about not being paid, at least not on time.

As far as the oustanding invoices from December of 2022, I reminded them of this on EVERY invoice sent from that point on. In January, we received an e-mail saying we would receive a calendar in the next week or two for repayment. This was never received and again, MANY e-mails were sent requesting an update and no reply ever received.

Since leaving in July, I have sent MANY e-mails asking for updates, asking for a written plan for payment, asking when a deposit will be made. I GET NO RESPONSES!!! By the way, these e-mails are sent to multiple people within the company to include Mark Boyce, the owner, my supervisor, Vicky Carrillo, Human Resources, and Accounts Payable. I have explained how important the money is to me due to bills, medical issues/tests, etc.
