Failure to supply and fit windows and doors and other services
Builder engaged in Feb 2025. For following services
1. Block upstairs window and move electric socket. Work completed on time and to standard.
2. Remove radiator fit new. Work completed but poor reconnection caused issues with downstairs radiator which remains unresolved as of Oct 2025
3. Windows fitted, poor fitting, lack of trim or incorrect trim fitted, sealing of windows not completed.
4. Pane of glass broken by fitter during fit, not yet corrected
5. Incorrect sized bay windows ordered by builder. We had to pay again on a promise from builder to perform some additional work free of charge. This work was never delivered. Poor workmanship now means we do not want them starting any new work on the property.
6. Blocked ground floor window very poor plastering work leading to a ‘proud’ internal finish.
7. Internal plaster work left residual damage to fire surround and flooring due to lack of care
8. Incorrect front door ordered. Builder accepted liability but has failed to provide replacement door.
9. Back door, poorly fitted, incorrect opening and glass incorrect frosted instead of plain. Hinges silver although not requested and do not match with internal door hardware.
